REPUTATION |
Manning’s Appliance was founded in 1954 by Don (Ace) Manning in the Manette area of Bremerton. The business moved from Manette to Callow Ave and was passed on to Don Manning, Jr.. Larry was hired by Don Jr. in 1986 and he purchased the service portion of the business and name in 1994.
After owning Manning’s Appliance Service for 19 years, in early 2013, Larry Wells hired on his first technician. Drew Brown, his son-in-law, trained with him for nearly two years and acquired his own electrician certificate. Since late 2014, Drew has been out on his own serving customers and Larry is now the dedicated refrigeration technician. Also in the fall of 2014, Larry hired his daughter, Becky Brown, as the Office Manager. In the summer of 2022 he was lucky enough to bring on another daughter, Chelsea Walsh, to help with the scheduling and books. Alicia, Larry's wife, now provides essential grammy daycare services. However, you may have spoken with her in the past to schedule appointments and she has done the books off and on over the years. |
We provide in-home service on most major kitchen and laundry appliances. Larry has over 30 years of appliance repair experience here in Kitsap County and both our technicians have an electrician certification for appliance repair from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
Larry/Manning's was professional, experienced, efficient, affable at a fair price in repairing our refrigerator problem. Also, Larry provided tips and fixed a couple of small items for no charge. I'm glad I called them! |
Our reputation is built on honest service since 1954. We strive to educate our customers. We want you make the right choices for you individually throughout the repair process. We appreciate a high rate of repeat customers and word of mouth referrals.
Drew was super-efficient, knowledgeable and did a great job for us! Was a miracle we didn't have a house fire with all the problems of our Whirlpool dryer! Thanks again, |
