Plan to be home for the full 4 hour window. We go from home to home and it is difficult to anticipate in advance how long each appointment will take. If you aren't able to be home for the whole window, please discuss options with the office in advance. Please have the person who makes decisions and takes care of payment at the appointment or make arrangements with the office in advance. If you have an additional appliance or issue you want help with, please let us know in advance. This helps us help you and make sure that there is enough time in the technician's schedule for all your needs. Did something come up or did your appliance start working again? It is not a problem if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we do need a minimum of one business day so that we can effectively try to fill your spot. Please give us as much notice as possible. Please limit same day cancellations to emergencies. |
Don't work on your own appliance until you've ruled out paying a professional to solve your current issue. Following up after a homeowner or other company can make the original repair more complicated and time consuming. Please don't pull out appliances or unplug them. We typically need the appliance in place and connected to its utilities to diagnose the issue before doing a repair. If you are concerned about your appliance's ability to be pulled out, please let us know in advance. If you want to prep for our visit, please remove items and debris from the area. We often have to lie down on your floor to do repairs. If you are curious about a policy, feel free to ask us in advance. While we don't do warranty work for manufacturers or contract with home warranty companies, we do offer a 90 day parts and labor warranty on the work we do. For liability and warranty reasons, we only install parts that we provide. Know that we want what is best for you. What is best for one person may not be what is best for another person. It can be difficult to decide whether to repair or replace an appliance. Some issues allow us to give you a lot of information in advance of your appointment. However, many times we'll have to go out and see the appliance to give you more information. |
